December in a EXTREME NUTSHELL

I'm talking like the tiniest nutshell that you could possibly find! This is why I should blog at LEAST once a week! GAH! Life has been SO busy its been pretty insane :] But great!
This is what happened in December:
Moved out of St. George
Disneyland :]
Chris and I went to Disneyland for my birthday present :] It was such a sweet present that he gabe me :]

While we were at disneyland it rained literally the WHOLE time lol. My shoes were soaked the whole time but it was perfect and Chris and I had such a fun time!

While we were at Disneyland I got......PURPOSED TO! It was perfect :] In front of the castle at night with the castle all lit up with christmas lights, in the pouring rain. He asked me with the cutest locket ever! I wasn't expecting him to purpose the way he did and it was the best way he could of done it and SO cute!!

I had a Birthday! I have decided to turn 21 AGAIN :] Chris was able to be there for my birthday :] It was such a fun birthday! We had my birthday dinner, Mac and Cheese with hot dogs, Pizza, and cake and ice cream! It was DELICIOUS :D :D I loved being with my family and chris! Thanks for the wonderful birthday :D

I finished my student teaching right before Thanksgiving so I took a week off and went back to Chandler with Chris :] I spent the whole week down there! It was WONDERFUL :] I got to spend all week with Chris and see his face (not through a computer screen)! During the week i did....

Where have I been for the last month you ask? Well.....in third grade! Haha. I'm going to do a month update. Seems like I do that every month but at least i'm updating right? It will get better in 15 days when i'm DONE with student teaching!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm just a bit excited!

First order of business :]

I am half way through with my student teaching. I really miss my kindergartners but I am loving my third graders too! They are a great bunch and super sweet. My teacher is great

3rd Order of Business:
Chandler Trip!
I was able to go visit Chris and his family over the long break! It was so much fun! I did a ton of different things like:

Big group date
Met his awesome family
ate at a place called Lolo's chicken and waffles ya it really is as interesting as it sounds
saw Despicable me and a TON of other movies
Spent lots of time with Chris
Laughed a lot
Saw the Mesa Temple
Went to the Arizona State Fair
Tried, Key word tried fried oreos....(nasty!)
Got an ASU shirt
Tried Tai food
and TON more!!
it was such a wonderful trip, I really didn't want to leave...

Cheese Cake Factory

Since I flew out to Chandler Kels, KaCee, and Kaitlyn came and picked me up. We went and ate at the Cheese Cake Factory! It was sooo good and don't worry I ate my WHOLE dinner!

5th Order of Business:
Salty Peanuts

KaCee has a boyfriend on a mission and she got a package from him. Inside were boiled peanuts....BOILED PEANUTS!!! We tried them.....Here are our faces....

6th Order of Business:
Brian Head

Kels and I went up to Brian a couple of weekends ago before it got bad weather! It was SOOO pretty and it was wonderful to be up there away from everything :]

7th Order of Business:
Stomach Flu

I haven't had the flu in OVER three years....Well it's ugly hand came again! I was banned to the ribbon of shame....by my roommates! It only last a day which was good but still YUCK!

8th Order of Business:
Olive Garden Trips

9th Order of Business:
THRILLER and HALLOWEEN!!

We went as a BIG group to thriller! It was soooo much fun and Chris was able to come up and go! We were pirates. It was such a great trip!

K so I need to update on a FEW things :] The first thing is my new beautiful car! Its name is shark bate oo haha! I LOVE IT and it's perfect!! THANK YOU :]

I also got to ride a mini scooter (if thats what its called??...) The helmet was a bit snug..I have a big head apparently.

Also I now have bangs! What really? Why yes, really!

Also the kids in kindergarten have been sayin some really funny things! I am so sad that next Friday is my last day :(.......I don't want to leave!

A couple days ago a little girl was so excited that her mom had come home from "Costco". I asked her how long she had been there and she said 3 weeks. I asked her if she was sure it was Costco and she said yes. Apparently her mom went to covo?...Spelling..?

A little boy told me that he would be gone around christmas because he is going to Disneyland for three years. I asked him if he was sure it wasn't a day, a year, even two years, and he said nope its three years.

The same little boy told me the other day that he was getting his "orts" removed later in the day. So his mom came to get him and he said that he didn't want to become like the tree man that let his "orts" grow so much that he turned into a tree. I asked him if he had seen a picture and he said yup.

Another kid called a sphere a spmeer today!

Got to love them!

My name is Kaylie and I am a terrible blogger.

Let me take you through the world wind of my life recently.....

Homecoming!

On Friday, Kels and I drove up to Kanab to go to Homecoming! It was WAY fun and I loved being able to see everyone :] It was the 100th year of KHS and we sang the old song that went to the tune of "oh christmas tree" hmmmm...my thoughts....lets use a little more less original tune, k? K! Of course we took pictures :]

The next day Chris(info soon) came up from Phoenix to hang out and go on a date, we ended up at the house chatting with the family and hanging out there. After that we went to dinner, I did McKenna's hair, she is such a beautiful girl!

Kels and I ended up being there when Josh came and got her (its tradition) my little McKenna is growing up :(! and then went and had a bonfire with everyone up by the Sand Caves it was a way fun day!

Sunday I went to church and then Chris, his mom and grandma had us over to eat food, it was super yummy!

TARZAN, WESTERN, LAKE

So, I am the worldest hugest slacker, however if you ask anyone of my roomates they will tell you that my mind has been gone the past few weeks. I have heard that when you have kids you loose brainwaves and I can honestly say I understand it now. I am forgetting everything and living life on the edge of homework. So....I am actually going to blog!! I know pick up your chins from the ground its happening right now!!

TARZAN

I got to go to Tarzan with Kels, Aaron, and Landon. It was outstanding!! I loved it and even got a little teary eyed! If anyone has the chance to go DO IT! After we went to Tarzan we went for a lil midnight run to Dennys. It was the last time that I got to see Aaron before he left for MIT :( I miss you AARON!! It was a way fun night!

Western Legends/Scary stalker killer man Weekend/Grandparents Visit!!
So the weekend before Labor Day Kels and I headed home. My grandparents had come to visit and so I decided to come down!! I'm wayyyyy happy I did :] When I got there we went and ate some WONDERFUL mexican food! I then went over to Joshs and chilled then came home and visited with the grandparents! It was sooo wonderful for them to come down I just wish they could have stayed a LOT longer :] The next day my mom and I went down to Western Legends and looked at the cute booths. It had been a couple of years since I was there for Western Legends so it was a lot of fun, Plus I just love hanging out with my mom!! There was also a scary thing that happened in Kanab that weekend. A cop was killed. It was way sad and my heart goes out to the family of the cop. It was an awesome weekend spent with family and friends :]

Labor Day Weekend
I had a BLAST on Labor Day weekend! We headed home with kels on Friday and we all got to hang out Friday night :] We ended up going to Kels dads house and chilling but it was way good to see everyone! On Saturday the family headed out to Lake Powell. It was way fun to actually do something as a WHOLE family! I then went and hung out with the group again that night. It was a great weekend!! Picture time :D

P.S Sorry for the grammar errors...its one in the morning just hang in there with me k?! K :]

Its one....I should be asleep if I had any brain at all! Instead i'm up working on lesson plans that I have put off until last minute...I am taking flying by the seat of your pants to a whole new level. I love it here in St. George and I love how close I am to family it just helps so much! I am really loving student teaching and being there from 8:30-4:00 everyday because it keeps me busy which helps me do better in life haha.

We also got Netflix today for the Wii so i'm up watching movies haha! I love it! Technology just amazes me. I have started running and I just love the feeling of running haha. I only run a mile and according to a couple of my roommates I look funny when I run but haha thats ok!

Speakin of roommates they are just splendid, we all get along super well and we are apparently well knows around these parts :P haha

We are the "Khotties" all of our names start with K's! Go figure haha. Kaylie, Kacee, Kaitlynn, and Kelsie. Its super funny when we tell people cuz it messes them up super bad!!

Other than that i'm just lovin life and i'm actually enjoying being single and finally living "my" life haha. (I have also just given up on ever finding a date or a guy that wants to go on a second date...) We will see if it stays that way next month but as for me I see some big changes in my life coming within the next year and i'm just super excited to get my life going!

I will tell you what makes life worth living and why I LOVE kindergarten even when they are crazy out of hand and just super giggly haha.

I have had a lil boy tell me that my hair is hairy (compliment?)

Another little boy told me I had hairy legs and needed to shave.

A little girl brought me a flower

I also got a wonderful card from another little girl.

I love hearing "teacher, teacher"

A boy telling me my name was funny cuz it had "hor" in it?? haha

The conversations I have at recess with the kids they range from, "i'm being chased by a girl" to "Guess where i'm going to dinner tonight"

I get complimented more on my outfits then I ever have!

Doing music with all the Kindergartners and watching them sing, "A-tootie-ta" and "I'm going on a bear hunt"

The best part is the hugs I get everyday!

Sometimes it's hard to remember why i'm doing what i'm doing but its those moments that it makes it worth it.

In other news I have been working on my TWS all week...i'm still not done and I really hope i'm doing it the right way.....

Well, i'm here in St. George! It's taking a little getting used to. Since we don't really know many people there has been a lot of tv watching haha. We went to church today and I am really excited for our ward! I think it will be a fun ward :]

I also started Kindergarten on Thursday and its a very cute fun class! I'm pretty excited! I just hope that I can do good and do everything I need. Wish me luck! That's all for now :]

The Rest of Summer "Wrap"

I have MASSIVE amounts to blog about! I pretty much slacked all of the end of July and August so a quick wrap up. Summer was AWESOME! It goes down as one of the best (minus Richfield haha). I went to girls camp, shooting, warped tour, camping (one day), went on a date, lake, worked, had a fire up at the sand caves. Like I said a TON to blog about! I am just doing a collage of pictures because if I don't nothing will get blogged ha. I promise I will try to keep up with my blogging I promise!

Summer was wonderful! I'm just moved in over here at St. George. I miss all my friends but i'm excited to get my life going. More coming soon!

h my hannah can I express to you my excitement?! NO! If you are a new reader to this blog you don't know that I LOVE Disneyland, if you are a frequent visitor then you know that i LOVE Disneyland! I can't get enough of the place :] If i were to pick a place for myself to live for the rest of my days it would be Disneyland! So, you can understand my excitement when I found out that we were going to Disneyland! I'm not kidding you I danced around, jumped up and down and acted a little less mature than a five year old! :)

We got there at 7:30 and left at 11:30! It was the best time ever and I loved it! We went to California Adventure and then Disneyland :] Instead of stressin about which rides we were going to ride we decided to just enjoy Disneyland. It was the best idea ever and it was just a great day! I was so sad to leave :(. Our feet however weren't haha.

A fun weekend!

wish I new how to write all cool so that this would be more interesting...Sorry if its boring.

This weekend was actually a really fun weekend! I drove home (again) friday I went to Escobars for dinner with my mom and grandma YUMMMM :] and hung out with the group friday night!

We watched a scary movie in Kels dads back yard on the projector!! It was way fun and we got some sweet moves out of it :] We watched the Moth Man ya it was unique haha. I just love my friends I really really do!

Saturday at about 8:30 Kels, Matt V. Josh and I went to breakfast at Houstons mmmmmm :] it was sooo yummy! Kels and I actually got a lot done haha.

We then met everyone at the church to go out to the Sand Dunes!

When we got there we turned Josh into a mermaid, it was a big feat but we did it!

Sunday morning I woke up and headed out with Kels, Delaney, and Kim to Mandy Carters farewell!
It was way awesome to see Mandy! I love how whenever we see eachother it's like no time has gone by!

I then got REALLY sick with a terrible migrane....it was awful and spent the rest of sunday being sick :(

Great weekend though!

Fourth Traditions

This years Fourth of July was so much fun! It included lots of laughter, yummy food, pictures, a great parade and lots of fireworks!

I woke up at the early hour of 7 am for the traditional yummy breakfast at the gazeebo with my dad! It was super yummy :]

9:30 rolled around, I picked up Kels, and Mckenna and headed over to 1st street to watch the parade with my family!

The parade was...ok. There wasn't much to it this year? Oh well still fun!

After that we headed over to the park where we met up with Brooke and saw Kim with her mad scone skills!

We ate at Junction (don't get their smoothie) then went back to my house where my mom took a couple pictures of us as a whole group! Thanks mommy!

We then headed over to Angels Landing and took some more!

Have I mentioned how much I love my friends???!! Let me just tell you how funny we are :]
AFter that we headed back to Kels where we found her lovely car decorated in toliet paper and silly string! I'm sure she will post about it on her blog.

We went back to Josh's house and sat on the porch for a couple hours.

I then headed back to my house to eat some yummy BBQ! I'm pretty mad at myself that I didn't take any pictures of that! It was so tasty!! :]

We headed to the park for some fireworks!!

I should be sleeping..But instead here I lay on my bed in the dark thinking. I just watched the movie Julie and Julia (or whatever its called) and it got me thinking. I really liked the movie, I didn't care much for how Julia said she was disrespectful but we will forget that happened in the movie. The point that I'm failing to get at is someone, anyone can make a difference. I want to be someone. I want to do something that changes someone in someway. I look at all the people I look up to and wish that I could be as wonderful as them. Instead I wake up every morning feeling a little blue. I guess that is to be expected with where I'm at in my life. I have hobbies but none that I am exceptionally good at. I want to be really good at something. I want to find my hidden talent. I don't know what it is, but I want to find it. Should I try to become better at something that truly frightens me, because if I were to do that I would take up cooking or writing or become a truck driver (that truly scares me). I'm sure there are millions of people that are doing just what the girl does in the movie, take up cooking and write about it. I honestly don't know what my hobby will be but I can tell you this, it will be doing something that truly scares me and accomplishing it. Maybe it will be cooking, I'll get back to you on that.

My Goal!

This will be the only post I do about my weight I promise. I just am pretty proud of what I have accomplished. I set a goal and it took me over two years about but I did it! It was the hardest thing I have ever done seriously and still is! At the end of my freshman year 2008 at school I weighed 150. As of July 2010 I weight 125! And have FINALLY met my goal weight! I have lost 25 pounds! Sorry I am just so excited :]

so I don't have any cool pictures for this post and I know I have posted like six posts all in one day and I'm sorry! However, I did play tennis on Saturday!

It was so fun! I wish i would have had my camera cuz we had some pretty awesome moves! We tried the dino arms move, football stance, among many others! We have all decided that we are going pro :]

McKenna and I automatically gained 5 points due to the fact that it was uneven! However, we didn't even need them because of how amazing we were!

We also had a wonderful coach! He was so talented for only being six years old! haha. He was a little biest however. We had the ball flying everywhere and I mean EVERYWHERE!

We then decided to break after our long game (30 mins if that) of tennis and get Icees! MMMMM :] They tasted amazing! I also had a black hand from my lovely tennis racket haha
After eating our wonderful icees we went to the elementary school and swung on the swings. We somehow ended up back at the park just chilling and talking. I also got hit with grass by Mr. Aaron and Mr. Josh. I got them back though :] hehehe!

So Friday night I was SOOOOO bored so I texted McKenna to see if she wanted to go on an epic adventure with me. (Kels was at the sand dunes or else she would have come too)

We drove around for a lil bit and had NO idea what to do but we did have our bandannas on and eyeshadow stick just incase we decided we needed war paint. (It never came to that) We decided we wanted to go through the tunnels (above ground) haha

I then had this great idea to lay across the whole in the top. It was a lot bigger than it looked so I just held myself up over it. Its far down i promise!!

We then parked at Junction and just started walking around town.

we then texted Matt and he came and picked us up. We then drove around town and then ended up at the park. We talked for awhile and then went home :] It was a pretty good Friday night If I do say :] and don't worry I do!

I honestly don't even know where to begin with the awesome Lagoon post! Maybe I will start just from the night before and my drive up there.

On my drive up there I:

Got a sandwhich molested in mayo (even though i asked THREE times for no sauce!)

Spent lots of money on gas

Got stuck in road construction that ended up only one lane on the freeway going 5 miles an hour

Drove through a canyon in the dark (very pretty....in the day btw)

Almost got lost

Smelled like camp the whole what 7 hours i was driving?!

Yup that pretty much sums up my drive up to Ogden haha

Once I got up there and showered so that i didn't stink...I actually pretty much got shoved into the shower haha

Once I was done with that I made my way back downstairs and we started to talk about doing the splits.

This was me showing how uneven I am.

I did however pull a muscle in my butt. It still hurts!!

Then Matt and I decided to try to make a bridge. If you haven't met Matt well he is a lot taller than me and his legs are like a lot longer than mine so this was a task!!

The next morning after watching Soccer we headed out to Lagoon!

So funny story about these pictures. I had just talked to Kels about feeling sorry for the poor person who got stuck in the middle. How did I end up in the middle?! This ride was the one where you go in a circle and get squeezed! Well no worries I did I think i'm a little bit thinner now haha

We rode a few more rides and then decided we were HOT! So we went on a couple water rides.

I did the skycoaster at lagoon! Its this pretty much big swing and you swing WAY high! They strapped us all in and I found out I was the one to pull the "pull cord" As they strapped us in I began to wonder why the heck I was doing it. The end result was amazing though!!

After that we headed over to Olive Garden :]

The next day Kels, McKenna, and I headed home. Longest drive of my life but that's ok!

I want to thank Terry for letting me come and driving and doing all that stuff! It was such a fun trip!! Also thanks Kim for giving up your husband for three days to let him come with us! We wish you could have come!! :(

Science Camp-a-roooooo

Yes, thats right I went to Science camp! Did I have fun? Well ya, but lets just say I'm glad it was only two days haha. We had to help out for part of my summer school.

They kids were a lot of fun I just wish they would have involved us more. I did do something however that I thought I would honestly NEVER DO! I walked through a swamp frog and insect invested pond. YUCK! The mud and water was warm until you got deaper in the mud...then it was cold! GROSSSSSSS :P I did do it though. All I could see myself doing however, was falling face first in it. Luckily my clutzy-ness didn't come out that day hehe.

It was fun. I also jumped out of bed the fastest i EVER have due to the fact that I thought there was a freakin rat in the cabin! I don't think I have ever jumped out of bed that fast haha. It was pretty funny! We ended up learning that what we heard was on the roof hehe.

We went up to Cedar Breaks super pretty! There are more pictures that might come later but i'm just not sure.

The next day we went on a little hike that was actually pretty neat. It was SO pretty up there! I just love the mountains! We hiked up to what used to be a sheep herders cabin. It was nothing haha.

Toy Story

I love Toy Story. I remember when it came out and I have always loved them! My favorite is by far Rex :] Anyways for Matt V.'s birthday we all headed out to St. George to go see....You guessed it Toy Story 3!!!! We got down there in the afternoon and ate at Darangos! Yummmmm! We then headed over to the movie an hour early but thats ok it was worht it. We played the would u rather game haha. The movie was so good and super funny! It's sad that it's officially over now but that's ok I guess :] When we were done there we HAD to go get some Fro Yo! We then headed home!

Girls Night!

So I got back from school for the weekend I decided that a girls night was in need! I went and picked up the girlies and after heading over to Matts house for some yummy ice cream and cake we then headed over to get some treats and food.

All the girls in the back minus kels and me hehe

Don't worry we didn't finish the movie we started and honestly I couldn't tell you anything about it but thats ok it was fun to hang out!!

Once we were done I went and took the girls home. We had to stop at McKenna's house because we were gonna have a sleep over so she could get her stuff. While we were waiting all of a sudden the boys drove by. Me being the idiot that I am I thought they were driving by to say hi. Ya, I was TOTALLY wrong! Instead I rolled down my window and got shaving cream in my face! Don't worry they drove by at least three times and kept hitting my car with it haha. We then headed over to Delaneys to get her stuff. We were SUPER scared they were gonna come by again so Delaney dashed in and dashed out. On our way back guess who was in the middle of the road Oh you guessed it! The boys!

The rest of the late night was spent driving/ sometimes running around town trying to get the boys back!! Don't worry the only people we got were eachother haha. Delaney and McKenna tried to spray the boys but instead shot it back at themselves and I ended up spraying some up kels nose and finger nailing her elbow haha. (sorry about that) It was a very fun night and totally worth it!

Manti Pageant

I think it was like last Thursday that I went to the Manti Pagent? I drove up with a bunch of girls from my classes. It was lots of fun :] The funniest part was these older women. We went to go find seats and we asked if they were taken and they said we could only sit there if we gave them chocolate. Well come to find out they had a HUGE bag of chocolate m&m's haha. They thought they were so sneaky :P

Why surrrreeeee :]

This past weekend I was able to see my dad and Josh. Josh had a tourney here. I did however have to leave for the stupid PLT (stupid test to get my something?) That was horrid. Walked in at 7:30 left at eleven???? My poor hand will never be the same! EVER! I was able to drive back from Cedar right after that and spend the rest of the day with my dad, josh, Bj, and her son craig. It was a very fun evening. I went and got a FRO YO with my dad and then ate at Pepper Bellies with them all! I laughed, talked, and really enjoyed myself.

Other than that let me introduce you to my such "wonderful" schedual:

REALLY? why would u ever tell people that are eating something that?? I know he was trying to be funny but it was a lil morbid haha.

River rafting

So,
No pictures for this post just stories haha.
This weekend has been LOOOOOONG. Yesterday I got a text from Sandra asking if I wanted to go down the creek/stream on inner tubes with her, kylie, morgan and morgans husband sheldon. Of course I said yes haha. It was way fun, by the end of the river which btw was about 2 hours and 30 mins two inner tubes had popped except mine and everyone else was in the boat.

I saw many things on my voyages such as:
a lama
strange looking stick
a couple big bushes that I saw very close up
few too many old rotting cars
interesting bugs which I of course swatted away
sludge
the beauty around me
blue sky's
A LOT of sun
goats
sheep
cows
guys with guns
I had a close encounter with the fence I had to climb over (big cut on my leg and inside of leg).

I also learned a few things:
I almost lost my flip flops which work great as paddles lol
My feet felt many things underwater that I think weren't supposed to be there.
I did go over some rapids haha more like river bumps lol.
Where lots of sunscreen
don't wear shorts that are too big for you when they get wet they look like bucket pants
don't climb a large chain link fence
my legs can sure paddle fast :]
those horrid river shoes that my mom always would make us buy that I hated actually work
cows follow
those stupid fences that go into water and just stop well i learned why they do that
even if you go feet first into a big tree bush it wont stop you from being attacked
GO IN THE BOAT

It was super fun :] However the horrible side effects....I am glowing red on my legs, hands and arms. I could take the place of a stop sign i'm that red. Oh, i know what your thinking, sunscreen?? Oh I wore sunscreen and I'm still a tomato. I will have an interesting tan line haha.

Wow! It's been a long time and a LOT has happened this month.
For the most part I have been back and forth to Richfield for the block. We wont say how I like it here....only six weeks! I have done a lot, there has been a lot going on!

First was Mothers Day

Then there was hanging out inbetween work.

Then came the xpress concert. Kelsie asked me to take some pictures for her. They didn't turn out as good as I would have wanted them too but thats ok.

Then I started the block. We had to go to mesquite for the week and it was an interesting time. Had fun though :]

Then last friday was graduation. It was way good, and congrats all you guys that read my blog that graduated :]

Then the last thing I did this weekend was go to st. george with some friends.

I had a really good time and I am grateful that I have them and that they invite me to do stuff. My friends are getting less and less it seems like with marriage and just life and it means a lot to me that they will hang out with me even though i'm four years older.

Today I did a lot of yard with my parents at my Grandma lulus house. Its strange how things get older and how people change...I don't know if I like it so much....

This weekend is Memorial Day Weekend. I would be very ungrateful if I didn't thank all the men that have died for this country. I talk about my Papa Arvil a lot but today we went and decorated his grave. I found these pictures today:

Don't worry!! I'm alive :] I know you were all worried about where I went! I just have been chilling :] well and working haha.

Last Thursday my mom and I had the blessing of going to a spa! ( Thanks grandma jean and papa dave you win a price for being so dang awesome!) We did a full body massage, and a body scrub! Can you say wonderful/amazing/awesome/great?! Cuz I sure can!!! :]

We stayed at a motel in St. George and goodness did we have a fun time! Our weekend was filled with laughing, fro yo, rhymes, shopping, olive garden, talking, and just really good one on one time with my mom. We have decided that we are going to do a girls weekend once a year. Thanks again grandma and grandpa! Picture time. I didn't get very many sadly!

So, I have been doing a lot of thinking lately about where I'm going with my life. I feel so lazy and that I don't do much for others. I do a lot of things for myself but not a lot for other people. I feel like i should be doing more. This next week and these past few days have been kinda hard ones for me. It's just barely hitting me that I'm moving on into a different phase of my life. I wont be at Cedar anymore and i'm pretty much hitting that "oh crap i'm a real adult" part of my life. Its strange to think that I wont be coming back to Cedar in the fall....I thought I was all happy about it, which I am but I have had a good three fun filled years here and its strange to think that its done. Today sitting in church it really hit me. I have LOVED my ward down here this year. NEVER in my college experience (3 years) have I ever had a bishop that knew my name and that made it a point to get to know me. This bishop did. I can honestly say I love my bishop down here. He has been so fun and a really good friend! I have loved my ward this year and I loved my roomate(s). It has been my best year yet at school. I started in september with really having a crappy crappy time. I was sad, upset and really confused. I don't feel sad or upset anymore. I am a little confused though. On Saturday I had the awesome opportunity of hearing Sheri Dew speak. She was AMAZING!! I hope I can be like her someday. But it really hit me like a stone when she talked about how we need personal revelation in our lives. It made me think...Do I use it? Do i pray before I make a decision? I don't think I do as much as I should. Actually I KNOW I don't. I'll be moving to Richfield this summer to do the block and then to St. George in the Fall for my student teaching. Who knows what will happen this summer and i'm really pretty nervous about it. I'm really excited to move to St. George and get to be in warm and I think it will be a little more social but at the same point I'm nervous. I'm moving on, i'm growing up and this year who knows what will happen. I have a few ideas of what I want to do after I graduate but who knows. I guess I should pray about that ;) But to my whole moral of this long huge paragraph of really bad grammar and spelling errors and nonsense. In relief society today a girl gave her lesson on a talk. It was such a good lesson and this talk hit home. I feel so blessed and i want to share my blessings with others and do more service. I'm going to work on that from now on.

I want it absolutely clear when I stand before the judgment bar of God that I declared to the world … that the Book of Mormon is true.

..............May I refer to a modern “last days” testimony? When Joseph Smith and his brother Hyrum started for Carthage to face what they knew would be an imminent martyrdom, Hyrum read these words to comfort the heart of his brother:
“Thou hast been faithful; wherefore … thou shalt be made strong, even unto the sitting down in the place which I have prepared in the mansions of my Father.
“And now I, Moroni, bid farewell … until we shall meet before the judgment-seat of Christ.”7
A few short verses from the 12th chapter of Ether in the Book of Mormon. Before closing the book, Hyrum turned down the corner of the page from which he had read, marking it as part of the everlasting testimony for which these two brothers were about to die. I hold in my hand that book, the very copy from which Hyrum read, the same corner of the page turned down, still visible. Later, when actually incarcerated in the jail, Joseph the Prophet turned to the guards who held him captive and bore a powerful testimony of the divine authenticity of the Book of Mormon.8 Shortly thereafter pistol and ball would take the lives of these two testators.
As one of a thousand elements of my own testimony of the divinity of the Book of Mormon, I submit this as yet one more evidence of its truthfulness. In this their greatest—and last—hour of need, I ask you: would these men blaspheme before God by continuing to fix their lives, their honor, and their own search for eternal salvation on a book (and by implication a church and a ministry) they had fictitiously created out of whole cloth?
Never mind that their wives are about to be widows and their children fatherless. Never mind that their little band of followers will yet be “houseless, friendless and homeless” and that their children will leave footprints of blood across frozen rivers and an untamed prairie floor.9 Never mind that legions will die and other legions live declaring in the four quarters of this earth that they know the Book of Mormon and the Church which espouses it to be true. Disregard all of that, and tell me whether in this hour of death these two men would enter the presence of their Eternal Judge quoting from and finding solace in a book which, if not the very word of God, would brand them as imposters and charlatans until the end of time? They would not do that! They were willing to die rather than deny the divine origin and the eternal truthfulness of the Book of Mormon.
For 179 years this book has been examined and attacked, denied and deconstructed, targeted and torn apart like perhaps no other book in modern religious history—perhaps like no other book in any religious history. And still it stands. Failed theories about its origins have been born and parroted and have died—from Ethan Smith to Solomon Spaulding to deranged paranoid to cunning genius. None of these frankly pathetic answers for this book has ever withstood examination because there is no other answer than the one Joseph gave as its young unlearned translator. In this I stand with my own great-grandfather, who said simply enough, “No wicked man could write such a book as this; and no good man would write it, unless it were true and he were commanded of God to do so.”10
I testify that one cannot come to full faith in this latter-day work—and thereby find the fullest measure of peace and comfort in these, our times—until he or she embraces the divinity of the Book of Mormon and the Lord Jesus Christ, of whom it testifies. If anyone is foolish enough or misled enough to reject 531 pages of a heretofore unknown text teeming with literary and Semitic complexity without honestly attempting to account for the origin of those pages—especially without accounting for their powerful witness of Jesus Christ and the profound spiritual impact that witness has had on what is now tens of millions of readers—if that is the case, then such a person, elect or otherwise, has been deceived; and if he or she leaves this Church, it must be done by crawling over or under or around the Book of Mormon to make that exit. In that sense the book is what Christ Himself was said to be: “a stone of stumbling, … a rock of offence,”11 a barrier in the path of one who wishes not to believe in this work. Witnesses, even witnesses who were for a time hostile to Joseph, testified to their death that they had seen an angel and had handled the plates. “They have been shown unto us by the power of God, and not of man,” they declared. “Wherefore we know of a surety that the work is true.”12
Now, I did not sail with the brother of Jared in crossing an ocean, settling in a new world. I did not hear King Benjamin speak his angelically delivered sermon. I did not proselyte with Alma and Amulek nor witness the fiery death of innocent believers. I was not among the Nephite crowd who touched the wounds of the resurrected Lord, nor did I weep with Mormon and Moroni over the destruction of an entire civilization. But my testimony of this record and the peace it brings to the human heart is as binding and unequivocal as was theirs. Like them, “[I] give [my name] unto the world, to witness unto the world that which [I] have seen.” And like them, “[I] lie not, God bearing witness of it.”13
I ask that my testimony of the Book of Mormon and all that it implies, given today under my own oath and office, be recorded by men on earth and angels in heaven. I hope I have a few years left in my “last days,” but whether I do or do not, I want it absolutely clear when I stand before the judgment bar of God that I declared to the world, in the most straightforward language I could summon, that the Book of Mormon is true, that it came forth the way Joseph said it came forth and was given to bring happiness and hope to the faithful in the travail of the latter days.
My witness echoes that of Nephi, who wrote part of the book in his “last days”:
“Hearken unto these words and believe in Christ; and if ye believe not in these words believe in Christ. And if ye shall believe in Christ ye will believe in these words, for they are the words of Christ, … and they teach all men that they should do good.
“And if they are not the words of Christ, judge ye—for Christ will show unto you, with power and great glory, that they are his words, at the last day.”14
Brothers and sisters, God always provides safety for the soul, and with the Book of Mormon, He has again done that in our time. Remember this declaration by Jesus Himself: “Whoso treasureth up my word, shall not be deceived”15—and in the last days neither your heart nor your faith will fail you. Of this I earnestly testify in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Why is that it takes us to see something terrible that has happened to someone else to feel grateful for what we have? Why can't we just be grateful at all times? I mean yes I am so grateful all the time for life, but I complain more than I am grateful. There are certain people that I have met or found through blogs or heard about that amaze me with their faith. It makes me wonder how strong I am....How I would handle something. So tonight I feel an overwhelming urge to state what i'm grateful for.

My family

They give so much for me. Whether they are my mom, dad, josh, grandparents, or extended family I am grateful that they are my family. I am so blessed to have them in my life. I love them more than words can express.

The Church of Jesus christ of latter day saints (and all it intails)

This gospel is my foundation. It scares me to think where I would be without it. It gives me happiness, hope and a strong firm belief that will last forever.

My friends

I am blessed with such wonderful friends that care about me. I don't deserve their goodness and I know if I needed any of them they would be their in a second!

My body (two legs, two arms, eyes, ears, a mouth, face..ect...)

I complain probably about my body the most. I'm too fat, my makeup looks bad, my hair wont go the way I want it. If only i had a smaller butt, I wish I could see without my contacts, my stomach pokes out.....How dare I get upset that I have a healthy body and that I can see and hear. Their are many people out there that can't see, cant hear or have been in a terrible accident that destroyed their body. So....I am grateful for my body, and my face and everything it comes with :]

I'm grateful to have a brain that catches on quickly. I'm grateful that I can learn and educate myself more and more everyday.

This week was such a busy one! The fun part came this weekend though! Kels came down thursday and we were able to hang out and eat dinner together. Friday I went and ate food at Jessicas sisters house and it was wayyy good! After that I headed out to Parowan to hang out with Kels and her grandparents. Drama was having their state competition and McKenna had asked me to do her makeup for her. I got to her grandparents house around eight thirty. At nine we went to the drama dance.....It was pretty fun but my goodness I was like four to six years older than all the kids there! I actually got asked to dance twice....I just went along with being in High school haha. It was interesting thats for sure. We then went back to her grandparents house and watched the show, "I shouldn't be alive" haha. It was INTENSE!!

This morning I woke up at about eight thirty and then layed there tell about ten. We then got over to the school around eleven. We FINALLY found the rest of the group. I did McKennas makeup and then we went to lunch where I had the BEST hamburger :] mmmm After that we watched McKenna perform and chilled :] I had a really fun weekend!! Now for pictures :]

Easter break!

Last weekend as everyone knows was easter break! It was such a wonderful easter! Jessica came up and stayed with me for friday and we went around town and saw the sights of kanab!! I think she had a good time :]

Sunday was EASTER :]

Sadly josh has the flu.... i know it was sad...so it was just daddy, mommy, grandma lulu, and me for our dinner. It has been a tradition for a little while that on easter we have Hoagie rolls and sandwhiches, macaroni salad, potatoe salad, and fruit salad. MMMM :] Yum!!

A couple reasons why i Love what i do!

Being able to hear two little kindergarten girls talking about which one they like better, Edward or Jacob. How they watched the WHOLE movie without falling asleep once!
Having a little girl tell me her aunts name is Tink and that she is a dog. I asked her more than once if she was really a dog and YES people she is a dog! Don't worry though she informed me that not all her aunts are dogs just this one.
Asking a little girl about her journal and having her tell me that its her dog going to the dentist. Why you ask? Well so that her dog wouldn't have babies anymore DUH!
A little boy after messing something up yelling "Tartersauce".
Getting hugged at least once a day by someone that can only reach to my knees.
Getting to be popular and having at least three little ones sit next to me.
Watching three girls at the preschool put on wigs, sing into their hairbrushes "All the single Ladies" word for word and perform for the boys.
Having big eyes look back at me when i ask a question and be excited to tell me the answer.
Hearing, "Look teacher, Look what I did"
Having 25 preschoolers walk in with crazy hats on.
Getting to wear a crazy hat and be considered cool!

Thats why I love what I do!

P.S sorry to all that I talk to on a regular bases that get to hear my stories that I think are super funny when in all reality they are probably only funny to me. haha

California FINALLY! and Temple Trip

Goodness the more I put this off the MORE things I end up having to post! Its a terrible chain and I'm sorry this has taken me so long! I just have been so busy lately. I go to kindergarten, school, lesson plans, eat, and go to bed! Wash and Repeat haha. So here goes a super long post!

Spring Break

For spring break as many of you know I was able to go down to California for the week! It was so warm and wonderful! I had such a fun time and I loved every minute, coming home back to cold Cedar was like pulling teeth!

Before I headed out for Cali I was able to go and hang out with kels and go to a birthday party for her friend Aaron! It was super fun! Here are some pictures

It was a pretty good drive. Monday my dad and I headed out to the beach to ride bikes and just enjoy the warm weather!! It was PERFECT! The only bad thing about riding the bikes was my butt! It was sore for days!! Not even kidding! On our way back from riding our bikes we saw these Jamacins performing at Venice. It was way cool! They jumped over eachother and were dancing. We then walked the pier. After that we headed back.

Tuesday (BTW these are entries from my journal so sorry if they don't make sense)
We drove out to long beach and went to the aquarium! It was amazing what we saw! I got to pet a sting ray which was pretty cool! My favorite was the really cool Jelly fish! Once we were done there we then headed over to the Queen Mary. It was way too expensive 25 dollars per person! So we went on this cool Russian sub instead. It was super tiny! I could never live on one of those. When we got done there we then headed back to my grandma and grandpas and then ate at Bobs (tradition)!

On Wednesday I hung out with my grandparents. I went shopping with my grandma while papa dave enjoyed a comfy chair :] I got some way cute clothes (THANKS GRANDMA!) After that we went to Olive Garden YUM!

Thursday was our last day! My dad and I headed back out to the beach and road bikes again.

I had such a wonderful spring break and it was everything I thought it would be! I want to thank my grandparents for letting me come out and stay with them, and my dad for driving and going down with me! Thanks again and Woot for a wonderful Break!

Last Weekend was a fun one also!

I was able and lucky enough to go to the Ohkur Mountain Temple and to the Young Women Conference!

Kels invited me to go with her young womens group since they had extra tickets! On Friday we headed out and got to her aunts house at about ten. Kels and I watched the blind side and talked. The next morning we woke up pretty early and went and did baptisms at the temple! It was so wonderful. It was way busy so I only got to do three names but it was such an amazing experience! I really needed it and can't wait tell someday I can go through a do much more in the temple!

After we were done there we then headed to the gateway and ate some lunch. I bought some YUMMY perfume that I have been wanting for a very long time! We then went into the NEW deseret book store! Oh how i loved it in there! :] WONDERFUL! After that we then headed over to the Conference. I know I'm too old to go to Young Womens but I was meant to be there. I needed to hear everything they said and I left wanting to just keep that strong spirit with me! We then headed over to the visitor center and took some pictures.

After that we headed home! I had such a wonderful time thanks Jill and Kels for letting me go!!

So I have started this dang post about three times, each time I think to myself that people don't want to hear me vent, you sound stupid Kaylie but you know what, I don't care at the moment I'm going to vent and if you want to read have at it.

I have had a terrible, horrible, no good week! I feel like that childrens book. I have worried about so many things. I have had SO much CRAP due in school. I had a lesson to teach at the preschool which I almost slept through thank goodness I woke up five mins before I was supposed to be there. The weather has been crap. I have just felt like a really big failure and I haven't been able to shake it! I had such a wonderful time in cali with my family and then I come back and have a crap-tastic week. (Cali post coming soon)

I found out Sunday that my ward was going to Baptisms today and I really didn't think I could go. I kept thinking today that I didn't really want to go. Can I just say that I am SOOO glad that I went!! I went and got my hair cut on Wed. I got some much needed advice from one the guys that was cutting hair there. But tonight at the temple I could feel the spirit so strongly. It made me feel so good to think that I am helping people to reach their highest potential. I could feel the love that those people have for me even though they haven't met me yet. It made me realize that even though I have had such a crap week and even though I have so much worry on my mind I will always have a heavenly father that loves me and that all this little stuff doesn't really matter in the long run. I am so grateful i went.

A fun weekend

HEY O :]

So not much going on down over below where ever you around here. I did make some yummy food though :] Let me explain myself!!

Yes I'm on a diet. Do I always stick to it? NO, Heck NO! :] Friday Jess and I were talking about Rice Krispies, which reminded me of girls camp, which reminded me of the Glaziers and how Jaenea would make these AMAZING peanut butter, chocolate rice Krispies. She would make them for us for girls camp for like the five years they were our camp leaders. I looked it up and found the recipe :] I made them and......they taste AMAZING! Much better than the Powder sugar choking hazard lemon squares, only Jess liked them lol :] I also thought of Christmas break where I went over to the wonderful Blakes household and found miss Delaney making oreo truffles and smashing them in a bag! I thought to myself, "hmm self I really want some of those wonderful Oreo Truffles." So, after going to see Valentines Day which btw is AWESOME :] LOVED IT! we came home and Allison, Jess, and I made Oreo truffles. They turned out AMAZING :] They are by far my favorite candy i think! We had a lil too much fun with the chocolate!

Saturday morning I wasn't able to sleep in thanks to my inner clock. I finished the Last Song (SOOOOO GOOD BTW) and then Jess and I went over to IHOP! It was Super yummy! Last minute we decided to go to Zion to get away from Cedar and to take some pictures of Jess. She hadn't been there in awhile so we enjoyed ourselves.

Good Evening out there :]

I really should be writing an article about assessment right now...I have locked myself in my room so that I will finish it. However, here I am not doing it. Procrastination has become something i'm an expert at!! Today I want to blog about something mostly for me but if you want to read it you're more than welcome.

Also if you haven't caught on I print this blog off so it's like a journal for me, that's why I have random posts sometimes.

I have been thinking a lot lately about my major. So, i'm going to answer the question: "Why did you choose to go into education?" and "Why do you want to teach?"

Good questions huh? I think so. Honestly for awhile I didn't know what I wanted to do. My problem is I have so many things I want to go into. I would love to do photography, interior design, learn more about history, creating things, and so on, the list is endless. Since I was about five I have said that I was going to be a teacher, so I can't really tell you when I said OH! Teaching is for me! I really can't remember. I don't know what made me say I wanted to be teacher, maybe it was because thats what every little girl wants to be when they grow up, but here I am. I came to SUU because it had a great education program and so that's the only school I applied to (boring aren't i?). Honestly though the thought of teaching until about three months ago scared the CRAP out of me!! I don't have a lot of confidence and putting myself out there is extremely hard for me. I have heard all my life that I would be a wonderful teacher but honestly I didn't believe them. I doubt myself. I try to live up to this expectation that I have for myself that is pretty much impossible to fulfill. What i'm trying to say is i'm a perfectionist (if you went to high school with me you already know this lol). I love kids to death and they crack me up! It wasn't until these past few weeks that I finally felt that I can teach, that I will do a good job as a teacher, and that I will make it through it. I'm still scared to death but I now believe in myself. I realize a little bit more of why I want to be a teacher. I am comfortable with kids. All my shyness goes away when I teach, I am silly, and loud. I feel so much better when i'm around kids than I do when i'm around people my own age. I have a hard time talking to people, i laugh when i'm nervous and its probably very annoying (sorry to all guys that I am around and if I laugh around you a lot). I can NEVER think of anything to talk about! I'm not dumb, but for some reason when I go to talk I am so scared that I will sound stupid. What i'm trying to say is that I am doing the right thing. I feel comfortable and that i'm finally in a place that I feel is my place to be. I feel this same way when I take pictures, play my violin, or work out. I guess you could call them my comfort zones. Now all I need to work on is life. :]

This weekend was such a good one!

Friday afternoon my awesome mom came up to stay the night! We had such a fun time! We went to the gymnastics meet that night and dressed up in PINK for breast cancer awareness. Sadly they lost....but it was a WAY good meet! After that Jessica, my mom and I headed over to Wingers for some dinner. It was SUPER good :] After that we went and got some Fro Yo, also yummy! We then headed home and just chilled. The next morning my mom and I went to the bookstore where I bought the book below. We then went and saw Dear John. We laughed a ton and had such a good time! It was an awesome weekend :] We forgot to take pictures when we were actually doing anything so we took them in the car when she was leaving.

Today I went and did the aerobics here on campus. O..my...gosh.....I was literally sweating from everywhere!! I now walk like a pregnant woman and stairs scare me but it was sooo awesome!! I cursed at it the whole time i was actually doing it. For some reason I like the pain of working out though...is that weird?? It makes me feel that I did something productive and something good for myself. I like feeling and knowing that I accomplished something that I didn't think i could!! Also working out makes me happy :] I think i owe the working out gene to my mom who at one time was an aerobics instructor herself!! ya thats right, go mom! Even though I ache and kill i'm going tomorrow again for Body Pump!! Shoud be fun! :] I'm getting there slowly!!

I don't think I have ever mentioned how much I love to read before. I LOVE to read!! I have always loved to read. I was the one that would spend forever in the library trying to find a book. I just love it. I also was known for reading more than one book at once. I have done it a lot. Now is no different. I think I got my love of reading from my grandmas, and my GGma. I was able to go buy a book today!! :] mmmmmm The joy! So as of now I am going to be reading 3 books!! I'll show them to you, and when i'm done i'll get back to you how they were.

1st book:

The Killer Angels

This book is way good so far. It is about the battle of Gettysburg. When I went to Gettysburg my senior year of high school I wanted to read more and my history teacher told me this book was WAY good. I just picked it up. Sad, i know. I really like it and it's really neat because I have been there so I can see what's happening. Very good writing but I love anything to do with history!!

Warm weather I wish!

Yesterday I gave in and bought a new swim suit. Well the top of one anyways. This is the one I bought!! Isn't it cute?! Since I have lost weight my other swimsuits from last year don't fit me at all. I'm really excited for this one because not only is it modest but LONG! If you know me you know my torso is SUPER long and my legs are SUPER short. Having both parents with short legs i was doomed. My last bathinsuit I bought was WAY cute but it wasn't long enough and it fit me funny. It made me look like I had a hunchback cuz my back didn't fill out. Anyways, the swimsuit was kinda pricey....$47.00 but I figured it will last me awhile (I hope).

I'll have to find some bottoms but isn't it CUTE?! I can't tell it gets warm and I can use it!! :]

I have had an interesting day. I have noticed that when it snows my mood goes down the drain. I'm normally, I think a pretty happy person. I have my random spurts of blah-ness but for the most part i'm pretty good. Today it snowed. Every kid at the preschool i swear was on sommething today. OFF the WALLS! My mood went down the drain. I didn't get to work out, and so I didn't do my wii fit either, this added to my bad mood. Also, i'm really missing home today, mostly my family. I really never have been much of a home-body. When I was little I would push my mom out the door when the babysitter came. I went to D.C for a week, never once got home sick. Lately I have become a home body. I call my mom everyday more than once haha. Usually its about a question or just to talk. I talk to my dad a lot also. Josh, well not so much. So this post is just a thanks to such wonderful parents! I love you guys so much. You have put up with a lot from me (specially during my high school years). Thanks so much!

Light Green and Pink :]

I know I just posted.....but......(sorry if your getting sick of me...)

If i were to pick another area to study in school other than teaching, and photography I would do Interior Design. Someday I want to do my kitchen in light green, light pink and a vintage floral (if there is a such thing haha). Pretty much a thirties/forties style theme.

I love the colors in this kitchen!! I also love the table and the hutch. Super wonderful! Just makes me happy. Doesn't it do that for you too?!

I LOVE the cabinets in this one as well. I also love the sink. Believe it or not I love the light.

I also love the shelf above the window. I pretty much just love everything about this one!

This one isn't my favorite. I don't like most things in it. I do like the curtains, and the plates.

Off subject but I LOVE THIS BED!!! Just speaks Yummmm :]

Went swimming after working out. It felt SOOOO good. I thought my legs were gonna fall off after i ran today. All I see is me running and falling off. How pathetic would that be?! I can see it now :

It was cool seeing the effects so clearly, so i got some friends to try different treatments.

Most of you know how out of it I am when i first wake up. I have been told that it's pretty funny. Well this morning was one of those mornings. I woke up to my alarm wanted to turn it off. Some reason I got out of bed even thought I can reach my alarm while still in bed. My foot was asleep, didn't realize this tell I got OUT of bed. I slid off my bed, my bed slid off the stilt things its on, and I landed on the floor. I had to put the bed back on the stilts. Good morning to me!! haha

I'm a little late at posting this but its pretty much an update on the past two weekends!

Two Weekends ago, I met Kels, Delaney, and their friend Whitney in St. George. We went and saw Dear John, did some shopping (i didn't buy anything....I have become way cheap lately...) laughed a TON, I ate a marshmallow that was HUGE! One of the funniest stories while we were in St. George was at Arctic Circle.

Kim was driving us because I was staying the night at their condo. We all decided we were hungry so we went through the Arctic Circle drive through. Well Kels and I decided we wanted a #1 thinking it was a normal cheese burger. No, it was some Ranch Burger. Delaney at first wanted a shake, then decided she wanted a number one also along with Whitney. After we had figured out that the number one wasn't what we wanted we then decided we wanted a value meal. Well after re ordering everything we finally got what we wanted! I give the girl working there props for dealing with our mess haha. At the end we were all laughing so hard that it was hilarious.

I then woke up early that morning to drive home. It was snowing SO bad. I am not exaggerating when I say my feet were shaking in my boots! Yes i was wearing boots. I said a prayer from black ridge mountain or whatever its called tell I pulled into Cedar. I had a long convo with Heavenly Father haha.

Last weekend

Last weekend I had a four day weekend! I left Cedar Friday morning to head home and watch Josh and Grandma Lulu for the weekend. It was my dad's birthday and well Valentines Day so I offered to watch them so my parents could go away. Things didn't work out so great. Short version Josh went to St. George Thursday for his Knee, they thought he had tore his ACL so they had him come back Friday for an MRI. My parents were gonna leave Friday but couldn't cuz my dad had to drive Josh down there.(Oh the day he can drive we will all sing!) So I hung out with Kels, McKenna, Delaney, Brooke, Matt, Josh, Landon...I think thats all??? haha. I met up with kels at her house where we chilled :] Then we picked up McKenna and headed to the basketball game. It was way fun but I stood in the student section which was just strange. I swear I got the stink eye from the French horn player!...haha I still had fun though!

After the game we played Rock Band. We decided to do it on random song. It was SO FUNNY! The first song we did I played guitar. It was way hard and my poor fingers were KILLING! All of a sudden the T.V turned off....Well...after a few mins of trying to figure out what happened we figured out that I had accidentally pushed the remote with my elbow! haha We got a good laugh. I love all those guys they are so fun! At one point I turned around to see Matt with this:

Saturday my parents left and so I taxied Josh around (license in August!!) Then went and hung out with Kels. We took ourselves to dinner at Rewind. Way yummy :]

Sunday morning I headed back to Cedar, went to church. Sat in the chapel for three hours due to the fact that we were combined with three other wards.....It went SO long. Sadly I feel like a church failure cuz I didn't really listen at all....I need to improve at that.

I then headed over to Parowan to meet up with Kels, her mom and the twins at her grandparents house! We played the biggest idiot...I don't know the real name of it haha. I ended up being the biggest idiot after teasing Kels that she was going to be!!

Monday morning we headed out to Brian Head to her grandparents cabin. We had to hike in, then went sledding!! It was SO FUN!!

Thanks Jill for letting me come!! I really had a fun time!!

Today well I have had better days. I wanted to sleep in....some reason I woke up at 8:30. Yes, i'm complaining, I'm sorry.

For months in my room has been this ugly drawer. I have wanted to move it for MONTHS! Everyday I come in my room I set everything on it and it has turned into my junk top of a drawer...if that makes sense. haha. So after many months of looking at that stupid ugly drawer I moved it. Well I had this great idea to move it into my closet and move my other set of drawers to the other side of my closet wall. It didn't work well....to say the least. This is why and when I need a guy in my life. They would have either fixed it and made it work or told me that it wouldn't fit.

Clearly I have a VERY bad eye!

It made a cool place to vent my anger at the stupid drawer!!

In the end....everything stayed where it started.

I'm back!

Do you all like how long that lasted?? See this is my problem, I have so many posts that I start thinking they will sound all clever like other peoples blogs and then I realize how stupid I'm sounding and they end up never getting posted.

I'm not clever, or funny but yet a few of you still read my blog.

I don't have anything smart to say like what blush works well with your skin or what type of brownies that i'm making that have multiple delicious things in them.

I once thought when I was little that I would be a writer like Lousia M. Alcott (Little Women) that went down the drain after I finished my fifth chapter in "The Bear Family" book. It was creative, funny, awesome, but sucked in the grammar area. This post is a good example of my terrible grammar.

I also thought once I would be a nurse, that was shot to heck when my dad sat on scissors at Christmas and I fainted.

Once I told my good friend Mandy that I would be going to clown college when I grew up. After thinking about it I decided that my feet are big enough and I don't need to wear red shoes that would make them bigger.

I have started many quilts in my short life time. How many have I finished? 3. How many did i keep? 1. If you're reading this(you know who u are) I would like those blankets back please.

Also when i was in sixth grade I thought I was a fast runner (very fast runner). Once I hit seventh grade track i realized that I'm slower than a snail. I have no running, jumping, leaping, throwing, or hurdling abilities. All hopes of being a cool, fast runner flushed down the drain.

When i was in second grade I tried out to be one of the monkeys for the Wizard of Oz. I smiled. I didn't make it.... I blame that for the reason of why I never acted in High School.

I also in sixth grade fell in love. I called this boy (we will name him bob) Dreamy! Oh how dreamy bob was. I now know why I was so strange.

In tenth grade I thought I would show off how far I could kick my shoe....It ended up on the roof of the high school. After walking around with one shoe and one sock a kind boy climbed up on the roof and got my shoe.

In fifth grade I thought I would impress a boy with my mad bike riding skills. It ended with boy on ground, his tire bent, me bruised and broken, and a very bad joke that would haunt me forever.

I have learned that I need to just laugh at myself.

We all have our faults, but that makes us Human!! Also gives you something to laugh at!

Hello World,

So I have a few things I need to post about but well, we have a small problem. I have a little camera that I have had for awhile. It's a Sanyo and it serves me very nicely but no way of getting my pictures from the camera to my computer. See when I had my laptop I would just take out the card and insert it into my laptop. Well I can't do that now. What about the cord you ask? Well....it's somewhere but where I'm not sure at this point in time. So, no pictures until I either find my cord or get another laptop. It might be awhile. I had a great weekend! It was full of family, friends, high school basketball game, laughing, church, Parowan, Brian Head, and sledding!! I know you all can't wait to see my pictures huh?! Well neither can i! haha. But until then I'm going to post on something else.

Blog Stalking

We all do it. I know you all do! I always see random visitors on my blog and thats ok(as long as they aren't creepy people! Are you creepy?! If so please leave now. Thank you!) but I also have a few blogs that I like to look at and read. Most of these are stay at home moms that have had something happen and how they are dealing with it. Most of you read the "Daily Scoop" Blog. I love to read her posts! I just can't get over her determination! I also read a few others. Some are funny and most are inspirational. It just blows my mind at how strong people are, what people go through and how they pull through it! I don't know what i'll have to go through someday in life but hope that if I ever do that I can be as strong as these women.

Also a shout out to my mom she is just great! I LOVE YOU! and to my grandmas and my great grandma. You all are such blessings to me!

When Life gives you lemons make some lemonade.

It's strange how life is so unexpected, things happen when you least want them and when you're not ready for them. Sometimes they are good things and sometimes they are bad. I just wanted to post a good post after such a sad one that I left a couple days ago. I should be grateful that my roommate and I weren't hurt. I'm sad about what they took but I'm grateful for being watched over. I fail constantly to remember that heavenly father has blessed me in so many ways. I'm always seeming to be upset with what I want to happen that wont or that did happen that i didn't want. I have been a grouch and thats wrong. I am so blessed! Things will happen in their own time and not when I want them, but when heavenly father thinks is the best time for them to happen. I have really been trying to be more grateful and not such a downer! I am doing the best I can, striving to be the happiest I can, and thats all that he asks for. I can't and shouldn't try to be someone or something that I'm not. I'm me and thats a good thing. I just have to have faith that he knows whats best, I don't. What happened was bad but it wasn't the worst and I'll be ok and i'll live :] One day at a time!

Broken into

I am now one of those people that has been broken into.....
This morning I woke up at around 7:00 to get ready for class at 8:30. I heard Jess call out my name and so i opened my door. She asked if I had opened the window in our bottom room. (our apartment is two stories we sleep in the top two bedrooms and since kenz moved out we have a vacant room downstairs.) I said No, and that it was kinda strange. She said that the window was wide open and that the door was a lil opened. I started to get a lil worried....I went to go upstairs and on the stairs was a wallet. I then went to see if anything had been stolen from my room. Nothing. Jess asked I had left my laptop downstairs.....I had......
I am so angry and feel so violated.....my laptop is gone, all my pictures from christmas and on are gone......my brand new laptop is gone......all my photoshop stuff all my pictures I edited are gone. GONE! There was a man in my apartment last night, who knows if he opened my bedroom door. He could have taken my purse since it was right there next to my door. After this we walked into the other room and there were keys for our apartment. They had broken into the managers apartment and a couple other apartments.
How can people do this to people? I know it happens all the time but I never thought it would be me writing about it.....Luckily my awesome dad is coming up to stay the night tonight. I love my parents. I am grateful that nothing else happened...but still really really mad....and sad.....

So I woke up this morning with my throat SWOLLEN SOOO bad! It hurt SO bad!

I kinda started to panic so i called home. My WONDERFUL mother came up and took care of me! She drove two hours to take care of me and I LOVE HER!! We went to the emergency since the doctors are all out on Sunday and turns out I have strep. I got put on some antibiotics so hopefully I feel better soon! But I just wanted to thank my mom for coming to help me and to my dad for taking care of Josh and my grandma while she was up. So I guess its time for me to update. I have gotten really bad at blogging lately, I have just been super busy! School is going good, I am going to be way busy this semester. I do better when i'm busy but we will see how well I do. Lets talk about my busy load, k? K!

-I get to work in the preschool Wed. 9:00-11:30-ish Thats way fun, I really enjoy it, kids crack me up! Love it!

-I also get to work out at west elementary(name?) Every Tuesday and Thursday Morning. I get to tutor a 1st grader in reading.

-I ALSO get to go out to North Elementary eight times and teach 1st graders.

-Lesson plans are due in the next four weeks!

-I am doing the student "Block" during summer so I have to get 100 hours of in class time before the end of may.

-Student teaching application is due Feb 1st.

-Grad Application is due Feb 1st as well!

-To add to my plate I also got a calling in my ward! :] This is probably the one I am most excited about! I don't know if I can say what it is until Sunday.....But its good :]

Life has been pretty peachy other than that. I am way excited to finally be done :] I will graduate in December, its awhile but still it will come soon! Well...thats my update.....not too exciting but hey YOU read you get what you get.

New years!!

New years eve this year was such a fun time! It started out with me working which wasn't bad, i really dont mind working. After that Kels and I went to Junction and got some yummy food! YAH!! We then went and delieverd my christmas presents, i know im a little late haha. After that we met up with chasen for lil while and hung out with him at his house and ate some food and chilled. After that Kels and I headed over to my house to hang out with my mom! We figured she was a lil lonely. We played Buzz word which was a big hit with all of us, and I lost. I think Kels won?? Yes no? haha. We laughed SOOO hard! We then watched Just friends. My mom had never seen it and we laughed like crazy to that also!! Haha It then turned midnight and so of course we had some sparkling apple cider and munchies!!

Of course josh woke up first, you would think now that he is older that, that excietment would wear off?? haha well it doesn't. So we all walked out to see what santa had brought us. I got a Wii and Wii fit which i have used a TON! LOVE IT!! Josh got Dj hero which he also loved!!

I really wasn't angry i was trying to look smug cuz I didn't want my picture taken cuz my hair looks like it got lit on fire haha

For My dad when we went to Disneyland we saw this train set that is the disneyland train. If you know my dad well then u know he LOVES trains!! LOVES THEM! I guess he has wanted that train since my mom and dad got married so after 22 years of being married my dad finally got his train, which he called before he opened it haha.

Josh got a lot of Snowboarding clothes and gear so here he is all decked out haha he looks like something from another planet!!

Salt Lake/ Temple Lights, TRIP

Well Merry Christmas All,

The past few days have been some really good ones not gonna lie. On Sunday afternoon Kelsie, Chasen and I headed up, it was a pretty good drive, im just glad chasen drove (thanks chasen again!)

We got up to Cici and Justins house at about nine (thanks again guys for letting us stay at your house :] U both are so awesome!) We then went to get a bite to eat :] When we went to get into the car, kels and I couldn't stop laughing for some strange reason but that seems to happen a lot with us lol :P

The next morning we woke up around ten and just chilled which was way nice cuz I have been working everyday since i got home for break so i enjoyed the time! We then went and picked up Justin from work and then went to the Gateway! I think im loosing my shopping touch cuz i didn't buy one thing!! It was FREEZING though which wasnt so peachy but it was nice when you went into warm stores :] We then headed back to the house and chilled and relaxed, a couple more than others (hehehe). Around seven we headed out to meet Jeff at the temple lights! (Jeff is the guy i have been on a few dates with and he is just awesome :] I'm way glad he met us up there cuz i had such a good time and it was so pretty!) I, like the idiot that i am forgot to take pictures...i was too off in wonderland. It was so pretty though, i had never seen it before and I was so glad to spend it with such awesome people! Kels actually took some pictures!! So here are a few of the pretty temple lights!

Once we had frozen to death we went and ate at this REALLY GOOD pizza place that was recommended by chasen. It turned out to be way good! Once we had chatted and talked and ate Jeff had to go and then we went back to justin and cicis apartment.

Once there i realized that kelsie and I hadn't gotten any pictures together!! So we took this lol they are pretty funny!!

DISNEYLAND!!

So for this post I need to explain a few things! If you know me really well, you know that I LOVE DISNEYLAND! Its by far my favorite place EVER! So, last year before my last birthday I decided that I wanted to go to Disneyland for my 21st birthday! So, hearing about the Birthday thing at Disneyland I decided to sign myself up! I told my parents that thats what i wanted for my 21st birthday. I wasn't really sure it would happen but it did! I was estatic, im telling you Im a disney fanatic! I have been over 20 times....which is slightly embarrassing....but I never grow board of it never! I love it :] Get my drift??? lol

So we woke up Friday (Dec 4th) Drove to Cali and check into our hotel room, right by DISNEYLAND :] I really wanted to see the Disneyland Motel, and go shopping at the disneyland shoping center so that was the first thing we did! Idk if anyone has been in the Disneyland hotel but the last time i was in it i was about five and all i remembered was how neat it was! It did not let me down this time! When we walked in we got to see the big theatre room, the chandeler was HUGE!! I tried to get a good picture but it didn't give it justice....but here it is!

Also in the lobby was a really cool collage thing with all this old disney memorbila, it was way neat to look at it and it was HUGE!

We walked around the lobby and there were these mickey mouse shaped umbrellas hanging from the ceiling so of course i took a picture :]

We then walked around the downtown shopping center and looked at all the pretty stuff. We went into this lego store that was way cool! The legos were HUGE! It was nifty!

I then bought a disney hoodie and a few other things :]

After that it was about eight and i really wanted Olive Garden for my Birthday dinner :] (and their way yummy cheesecake!)

It was a HUGE Olive Garden!! But OH SO YUMMY!!!

After that we headed back to our room...which took awhile considering we GOT LOST!!...Ya it was a big ordeal, Mommy is none for getting lost...when i was little going to Dr.Shankers office(asthma doctor) I swear we got lost everytime! hehe Love ya mother!

Saturday (December 5th) MY REAL BIRTHDAY!!!

We had planned on getting to Disneyland by Eight which is when they opened but slept in so we got there really at about nine thirty! It was a really nice day which was WONDERFUL! When we got there we rode all the big rides first because we knew it would get way crowded!!

Also if anyone has been to Disneyland around christmas you know that they deck it all out for christmas!! It was sooo pretty! they had the big tree in the front all decorated and then all the shops were all decorated too! It was soo pretty! The castle had fake snow and iccels on it!!

1st Ride. Indiana Jones-Love this ride :] Its one of my favorites! We didn't have to wait in line too long because there wasn't many people there!

2nd ride. Pirates :] MMMMM I LOVE THIS RIDE!! It's way cool since they redid it. However I think i liked the older version better! Oh well still way fun!

3rd Ride. Haunted Mansion- This was sooo cool for christmas! They had taken all the normal ride out and decorated it all with the nightmare before christmas!! It was sweet!

After that we headed over to pooh corner! Mommy was sooo excited to get a picture with pooh and tiger :] So here we are!

We had to get a picture with my birthday pin! (Cept you cant see it!) Also yes we did wear those hats all day!! Classy arent we?!

4th Ride. Thunder Mountain-So fun! This is my dads favorite so we had to ride it since he couldn't come cuz he was sick!!

After that we headed over and saw actual reindeer!! Sweet huh?!

Once we were done there we went over to space mountain and rode that :] After that we ate and it sooo yummy!!!

It was super busy but such a fun time!! I wouldn't have wanted to be anywhere else for my birthday!! (if you cant tell i just started writing this again...) I loved it soo much :] I just love disneyland so very much and it just makes me so happy! We rode every ride Almost! The craziest line was It's a small world! It was all redone for christmas so the line was INSANE!! lol But we had to ride it!!

We celebrated my birthday on the Sunday after thanksgiving because we would be at Disneyland on the actual day.

So I woke up on Sunday morning to a cute yummy cake :]

The cards stand for 21! My dad always decorates my cakes! He is actually pretty talented at it! He has been doing it for as long as I can remember. One year my cake had Chip from Beauty and the Beast on it! Such talent :]

Later that evening I had my birthday dinner :] Pizza, mac and cheese with hot dogs. (it has been this for a few many years hehe) It was super yummy! After that I opened my presents! I finally got the shoes that I have been waiting for for months!! I was pretty ecstatic!
